62.3 Bug Fixes - 11/20/2009

Greetings!

We have the following Bug Fixes for you this morning:

Bug Fixes

Added guard ignore to the Giant Turkeys
Fixed the barding difficulty on the Giant Turkeys
Bards will be added to the lawful attackers list for discording and provocation of the Giant Turkeys
Turkeys AI was adjusted to keep it from teleporting so often.
Harvest Wine and Cider will no longer lose their TID’s at maintenance.
Age was removed from using the Retouching Tool

Player Advisory: Imbued Ecru Rings

Greetings,

At this time we are advising players to avoid purchasing Imbued Ecru Rings. There is an issue with imbuing that can cause these rings to be more powerful than intended, due to this they will be reverted with a future publish.

We have the following Bug Fixes for you this morning following yesterday's launch of 62.3 on all live Shards:

Bug Fixes

Giant Turkeys no longer teleport into houses
Fixed an issue with cursed parchment will be deleted on login
Fixed several exploits with Turkey Nests
Turkeys AI was adjusted
Fixed an issue regarding the top twenty (20) Turkey attackers
Attackers on the aggressive list must be within 50 tiles of the corpse
Unstabled Chicken will no longer be kicked from players houses.

62.3 Now Live on All Shards!

Please note that this client is 336 MB in size. While this is a larger than normal patch for legacy clients, we have modified the system so that future patches involving animation data can be smaller. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience.

Publish 62.2

Publish 62.2 will go through during your local shard's maintenance period. The following fixes and changes will be implemented during this publish:

Fixed an issue that was causing double NPCs to spawn with the Halloween Quest.
Adjusted the Gypsy’s respawn timer.
Players can no longer summon the Harbinger in the Abyss.
Removed the Naughty Twin's ability to turn players into a Mound of Maggots.
Fixed an issue with Veteran clothing becoming unblessed on the Siege Perilous shard.

Patch Notes for Enhanced and Classic Clients

Enhanced Client:

- Keybindings and Mouse Settings will now saved for each character.

o First load, old keybindings and mouse settings will be reset.

o Does not affect keybindings assigned to hotbar and macros.

- When a player logs in for the first time they will now be able to choose between Enhanced or Classic default settings.

Fixed several client crashes

Fixed a memory leak

Classic Client:

- Added a crash reporting dialog box that appears during client crashes.

New Small Rugs at UO Gamecodes

We have added four additional small rugs to our collection. These rugs come in plain red, golden, cinnamon, and blue decorative. You can get them at www.uogamecodes.com. They come as a five piece set for $5.00.

Soulforges

These smaller forges are obtained by going to the Primeval Lich champ spawn. They are for decoration only and have NO functionality. There are some merchants that have these for sale at a very high gold value. The item will say “Soulforge” and the seller’s description may say “Portable Soulforge”. We would like to put a buyer beware on this particular item. Below, is an example of this particular issue.
